GENDEX is the first Pan-European Innovation Gender & Diversity Index. It aims to enhance the accessibility of women and diverse talents within the EU innovation ecosystem
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
100%
More profitable exits
There is a direct relationship between diversity and financial returns.
VC firms with 10% more women partners than the rest had 1.5% higher fund returns and 9.7% more profitable exits.
OUR OBJECTIVES
Enhance the accessibility of all talent, with emphasis on female talent, to the portfolio of projects and companies within the EIC and the wider EU innovation ecosystem.
Develop a Gender and Diversity (G&D) Index, which will encompass a broad spectrum of indicators pertaining not only to gender but also to diversity factors, spanning across all European Member States and the United Kingdom.
Scrutinise the current baseline and tap into numerous data sources, yet it will deliver distinct value by conducting additional primary research at both quantitative and qualitative levels.
Be the first to receive updates on our mission to improve talent accessibility, particularly for women, in the EIC portfolio and the EU innovation ecosystem.
